Sean Wright is a Managing Partner of Carden Capital. Prior to founding Carden Capital, Sean worked at Allianz Capital Partners in Munich, Germany, a leading Western European private equity firm with over €2bn of invested capital, where he focused on leveraged buyouts and mezzanine lending. Sean started his career as an investment banker at Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette in New York and London, where he completed over $1bn of mergers and acquisitions and acquisition finance transactions. Sean attended the University of Pennsylvania where he earned an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of Business with a finance emphasis and an M.A. in International Studies from the School of Arts and Sciences. Sean graduated summa cum laude from Pepperdine University with a B.S. in Business Administration and a B.A. in German language.
Gavan Duemke is a Managing Partner of Carden Capital. Prior to joining Carden Capital, Gavan served as chief investment officer of a Colorado-based asset manager where he created systematic investment strategies, which achieved five star Morningstar ratings for superior risk adjusted returns. He has structured and executed over $25bn of derivatives transactions for many Fortune 500 corporations and financial institutions while managing a derivatives trading desk at Chatham Financial in London, UK. Additionally, Gavan teaches Trading in Commodity and Financial Markets as an adjunct professor at the University of Colorado, Denver. As an undergraduate, Gavan attended the University of Cologne, Germany where he studied medicine and business administration. Gavan received an M.B.A. from the University of Oxford, UK with a finance emphasis.
Christopher Bennett serves as the Chief Marketing Officer at Carden Capital and Carden Futures. Having spent two decades in the securities industry, Chris has worked on some of the largest wealth management teams at both Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch managing over $1.5B in assets. His primary focus continues to be cultivating new relationships while providing education on applicable client services to high net worth individuals and corporations. Prior to joining Carden Capital, Chris was a Managing Partner in an independent investment firm providing advisory services to high net worth individuals and a hedge fund specializing in new issues. Chris holds a B.A. in Psychology from Pepperdine University.
Jason Hall is a Managing Partner of Carden Futures. Prior to joining Carden Futures, Jason was a portfolio manager at a Colorado-based asset management firm, where he actively managed $100 million in assets and was responsible for quantitative research. Jason is a guest lecturer at the University of Colorado, Denver on trading system development and execution. Jason graduated from Colorado State University with a B.S. in Business Administration with a finance emphasis.
Scott Spangler is a Senior Wealth Manager at Carden Capital. He brings over eighteen years of comprehensive wealth management experience serving high net worth clients, most recently at CoBiz Bank in Denver, Colorado. A third-generation native of Colorado, Scott earned a B.B.A. in Business Administration from Colorado Mesa University, with emphases in economics and finance. Scott holds the FINRA Series 65 Investment Advisor Representative license as well has having earned a Certified Equity Professional certificate from the University of Santa Clara for equity compensation.
Matthew Kirby is a Wealth Manager at Carden Capital. He brings eight years of experience at Spencer Edwards, a boutique investment bank, where he focused on serving the investment needs of high net worth clients in small and mid-cap equities. Matt earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Colorado, Denver with a finance emphasis.
